About me
Sunny Linnebur, Pharm.D., BCGP, BCPS, FCCP, FASCP is a Professor, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Linnebur graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas with Highest Distinction. She then completed a PGY1 residency at the VA Medical Center in Denver, Colorado and a PGY2 Primary Care Residency at the University of Colorado. Since 2001, Dr. Linnebur has provided clinical pharmacy services in geriatrics at the University of Colorado Hospital Seniors Clinic, where she also precepts pharmacy students and residents. In addition to teaching at the School of Pharmacy, she teaches students in the University of Colorado School of Medicine and the School of Dental Medicine. Her research and clinical areas of interest include medication safety, dementia, cardiovascular disease, health promotion, and urologic disorders. She is an active member of the American Geriatrics Society where she serves as the Co-Chair for the AGS Updated Beers Criteria® and is a Past President. Dr. Linnebur is also a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine Geriatric Medicine Board.
